"Taiwan Digital Talking Books Association" (referred to as "TDTB") was founded in January 2004 with a dedication to being "a supportive companion on the journey to self-fulfillment for the visually impaired."
Initially, we introduced the international DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) audiobook production technology and promoted the user-friendly format of digital audiobooks. We aimed to enhance accessibility and benefit the visually impaired community.
Subsequently, in response to the diverse needs of the visually impaired, TDTB gradually expanded its service projects to include teaching information/assistive device applications, providing psychological support, vocational training, and advocating for equal rights for the visually impaired. TDTB is steadfast in its commitment to becoming "a supportive companion on the journey to self-fulfillment for the visually impaired"
